Bearings are basic components that keep your wheels turning and prevent friction from causing harm to your vehicle. Properly greased bearings dissipate heat, alleviate the friction and weight on your wheels, and enable smooth motion over thousands of miles.
But that grease eventually breaks down or dries up — and does so faster in dry or dirty conditions — so it’s necessary to repack your bearings at least once a year. Listed below are the step we take to repack your bearings:
* Clean all the grease from the axle assembly and inspect for damage
* Clean hub assembly, inner & outer bearings
* Inspect bearings for damage, friction wear & freedom of movement
* Inspect brake linings for wear

*Upon completion of the inspection, the customer will be given a list of items that passed and/or failed inspection. Troubleshooting will cost $125 per hr, which will be prorated for every quarter hour ($31.25 for every 15 mins).
