Do we perform warranty or insurance work?
Yes, we provide manufacture, insurance, and extended warranty work. Please see the Warranty Guidelines tab. Click HERE.
Please be advised that we charge a 7% deposit for all insurance quotes. If you approve the quote, the 7% deposit will be applied toward your final invoice.
Do we work on engines and transmissions?
No, we don’t do any engine or transmission repairs.
What areas do we service?
We travel as far as 2 hours from Parachute, CO. We service the following cities and surrounding areas: Grand Junction, Delta, Montrose, Fruita, Loma, Palisade, Mesa, De Beque, Parachute, Rulison, Rifle, Meeker, Silt, New Castle, Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Basalt, Snowmass Village, Aspen, Dotsero, Gypsum, and Eagle.
Service Call $100 Plus Mileage – $100 within a 40-mile radius of Parachute. $3.25 for every mile after.
Do we repair flooring and walls?
We do not repair any flooring, walls, or delamination.
What forms of payment do we accept?
We accept Cash, Checks, Zelle, and most major Credit Cards. A convenience fee of 3% of the total invoice will be applied if payment is made by credit or debit card. Other forms of payment will not be charged this fee.(Cash, Check, or Zelle)
How often should I service my Dometic or Suburban Furnace?
Your RV furnace should be serviced and cleaned once a year.
When should I replace my propane detector?
If your RV is over five years old, the propane detector may not be functional and should be replaced. Most propane detector manufacturers specify replacement at FIVE years from the expiration date shown on the front or back of the unit.
How often should I drain my water heater?
Flushing out your RV’s water heater is very important to remove a buildup of minerals, such as calcium. If you regularly use your RV, then we recommend you flush your tank about FOUR times per year. If you store your RV for the winter, then you can perform this task before you winterize your RV.
Are there any other mobile repair services in the area?
Yes, High Desert RV Repair and RV Medic who only service Grand Junction. Presently we are the only mobile service in Parachute and travel as far as two hours from Parachute, CO.
Can I get rid of mold build-up in my RV?
Spray white vinegar or hydrogen peroxide onto a moldy surface and leave for an hour. Wipe the area clean with water and allow the surface to dry. We also recommend purchasing a quality humidifier for preventive maintenance.
